| Go for \"Greek Food\" in \"Greek Restaurants\" |

,You cannot go wrong if you stick to the genuine greek restaurants and they are in abundance go to the ones that have quite a few people in and if those people eating are Greek you can\'t and won\'t go wrong. Naraida on the beach, Costas & Nikos & there family are brilliant and you cannot go wrong here ask and it\'s yours and lots of it.

Have just returned from a 10 day stay at the Alykanas Village and we can\'t wait to return. We loved the hotel and the resort was ideal for families. Weve just returned today from a two week holiday at alykanas village and what a nice hotel it was. First week temperature was hitting 40. Just 25 mins coach trip from the airport. Friendly staff. We had a studio for 4 which was more than adequate. The apartment was spacious, clean and modern, looking over the pools. I cannot rate this hotel/resort highly enough.....myself, husband and 3 year old daughter have just returned from a two week stay at the Alykanas Village Hotel. Quick transfer from airport to Hotel. I was in Kalamki in The TONI STUDIOS and i was so upset to hear the owner telling people not to touch the animals as they have disease and they cull them at the end of the season, i met 5 beautifull young cats from The Denny Apartments next door, that i fed and looked after for a fortnight, they were in lovely condition, and i hope and pray that th ... more

My husband and I went to Alykanas for two weeks at the end of August. I found the resort and the beach to be very pleasant, although other than eating and drinking, evening entertainment was contained to the big hotels. There was a large theft of safety deposit boxes and their contents from a hotel in Alykes during our stay making us more on guard ... more

We have been to Alykanas twice now, first time was in 2005 and the second time was last year, we stayed at the Alykanas Beach Aparthotel and the beach studios. It is the most beautiful place i have ever been to, Hence the reason we are retuning to zante this year for our third visit! ... more

We have had many holidays in the Greek Islands, but this last one in Alikanas in Zakynthos has been one of the best. We stayed at the Plessas Palace Hotel and had a very comfortable stay. The location is not the best not much to do or see in Alykanas. The beach is not up to much a bit dirty, Alykes is about a 15 minute walk from Alykanas along the beach or about 20 minutes by road and has a few more shops and bars etc, on the whole I would not reccomend this location. ... more

Alykanas came highly rated and we can't really disagree.A small town, mostly centred around the main street, with lots of restaurants, bars and shops.People were friendly, food was nice (Dionisos, La Caretta , Mantalena and the Chinese/Indian in Alykes were all good value for good food) and the cocktails in the Catacomves were great! ... more

Alykanas was a very quiet resort. Plenty of restuarants and bars but no other entertainment for the evening - OK if you didn't have children. The horse and cart was a nice way to get to the restuarant although got fed up with all the flyers that were handed out every evening as we left our accommodation.
