The Albatros ApartHotel is located on 300 m. away from the largest beach of Zakynthos Island, the beach of Laganas, which has been declared as a conservation zone because of the loggerhead turtles Caretta - Caretta.
Turtles have been breeding here for literally millions of years. The beach is protected by the legislation of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos.
During the day there are numerous of glass-bottomed boats on which you can go out to see the turtles in the sea. Along the coast there are also frequent boat rides to many outlying beaches and fishing grounds. You can also visit the islands of Pelouzo and Marathonissi with the crystal blue waters, the sandy beaches and the bright green landscape.

The Albatros is just 8 (eight) kilometres away from the town and 6 (six) kilometres from the Airport. The bus station is exactly out of the hotel and there is a frequent bus service not only to Zakynthos Town but also to Shipwreck, Blue Caves, Keri, Alykes, Vassiliko etc.

There is also a taxi station 50 meters away from the hotel.
Laganas has all shops you need. Supermarkets, Fruit Shops, Cake Bakers, souvenir shops, leather shops, chic boutiques, fine jewellers.
