The Caretta-caretta sea turtles have chosen Zakynthos (Zante) as their main reproduction biotope, more specifically the areas of Laganas, Kalamaki, Daphni, Pelouzo, Marathonissi, Gerakas and Sekania. The magnificent creatures that have existed since the era of the dinosaurs, more than 150 million years ago, struggle to survive despite the hardships they endure.
