Kalamaki is a quieter resort compared to the neighbour resort of Laganas, but there is still plenty of restaurants and bars to keep you entertained. The variety of entertainment includes, Karaoke, fire shows, big screen TVs, quiz’s, Greek nights and there is a couple of bars that stay open until the early hours. Some of the places I would recommend are Heaven's Kitchen, Mermaids and Heir Restaurants and for bars Down Under (they spin the wheel for drinks offers) and have a nightclub at the back and Venue which offer Karaoke, fun entertainment and dancing till 3am. The buses to Laganas are only 1.40 euro and the taxi’s 7 euro’s, so its cheap enough to go else where if you do want a more lively evening. The beach is a protected turtle beach, so there are guide lines when using it and it does close in the evening. If you get bored of your hotel ool you can use any other hotel/apartment pool in the resort free of charge.
