Alykanas is a lovely little resort and we have just had a fantastic family holiday there. There are plenty of tavernas to choose from and the food is fantastic too. Some of them include a free caraffe of wine with your meal and free transport (horse and cart) to the restaurant and back. Our favourite places to eat were - The Lemon Tree, The Greedy Greek, Piccadily Hotel and the Chinese restaurant which serves both chinese and Indian food. The entertainment in the resort is pretty low key, just the way we prefer it, however, Alykes next door appeared to have a little more atmosphere on an evening whilst we were there. The beach was very clean with plenty of sun beds and water sports available. We did a trip with Dionosis Tours to the ship wreck and the blue cave
