THIS IS TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO COMPLAIN: If you like your home comforts - stay at home. If you want to communicate with the greeks - learn some greek, yamma - thankyou, galinichta - good night. Manners cost nothing. You're in greece, they speak greek, funny enough. Basics in hotel rooms - it's greece, if every room had wallpaper, carpet, sofas, duvets, underfloor heating and plush towels it would be to hot to breathe and you'd probably complain about it! Food - you're lucky they serve pie and chips, steak and chips, indians, chinese - Just like home eh? so don't complain about the greek food - you're in GREECE!!! If you're wanting to capture the real spirit of the island and have luxury, fork out for it and hire a villa in the hills with the olive growths - you wont get this for £500 a family!!!! If you don't like the pool - there is 20 + more hotels in Kalamaiki that welcome you to use their pools and resturants. You don't have to be staying there, we very rarely stick to one pool per holiday.
