 Beach pretty poor, because turtles lay their eggs here you have a tiny strip you're allowed to sunbathe on and not allowed to put up umbrellas.
Huge pavements good luck if you have a pram! Eating out in Kalamaki is good, especially Olive Tree and Mermaids very big portions at cheap prices. Plenty of shops for buying groceries/ souveniers etc.
Quite quiet even in high season so if you're after a lively holiday I'd suggest Laganas 5 mins in a cab.
