Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course, but don't let anyone tell you that this is anything but a great place to stay! We have a pre-school child and a 6 yr old and they loved it! The people on the island were tremendously hospitible and very friendly towards visitors, especialy kids. We got to see a few tutles which was amazing and the aeroplanes taking off and landing nearby was actually an enjoyable feature (if you're anything like me!) Places to eat were many and varied, but using the info from this website, we didn't have any bad eating/drinking experiences.

I wouldn't go over the top about 'Mermaids' as some do, but it was ok. There were lots of other good places to eat and a wide variety on each menu. The local pharmacy was very helpful and not too expensive, although seeing the doctor
