Argassi is in the south of Zante, just a below Zakynthos. It's fairly family orientated, we went there with our kids, and loved it. Lots of good bars and restaurants, beach is not the white sand you see in the brochure with quite a lot of rocks and pebbles, but there are sandy bits and children loved playing in rockpools. If you go on holiday to Argassi, go on the boat trips to visit nearby island of Kefalonia or nearby caves. There's not much nightlife in resort but you can go to Zakynthos which is only three miles away.
