I visited Zante last October for the first time,and i would have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable holidays I have been on and I would definetly go back again!

Here is why:
Accomodation is typically Greek.By that ,I mean that in most cases,particualrly self catering apartments it is very basic but comfortable.In a self catering apartment you can expect minimal plates and pans,but this is hardly a problem as eating out is way better than eating in anyway!A word of warning if you enjoy a long bath after swimming or sunbathing....most apartments dont have baths due to water restrictions,in fact you usually get a hand held shower.

For food,if you intend to cook for yourself,try visiting the open air market in Zante Town(capital) where you can purchase fresh fruit,vegetables,herbs,eggs and fis
