If your looking for a way to see the island I would recommend avoiding all of the excursions just buy a guide book and hire a car for a couple of days. We managed to cover the whole island in 2 days including the lighthouse near the blue caves. (The people running the cafe at the windmill there were very friendly and helpfull and the view is superb.) The shipwreck, (only us and 4 priests there when we visited so you feel like you have realy discovered it yourself), Keri (beach for lovely fish restaurants and lighthouse for the most beautiful view of the sunset you will ever see) and St Nicholas beach (my daughter wanted to go on a banana boat otherwise we would have avoided it, there was a large group of 18-25 year olds there so it was very loud, also a rip off 4Euro each for the sunbeds and |
