It has everything you would need. Plenty of bars, superb restaurants (try the Lemon Tree via a horse drawn carriage that picks you up right outside the hotel, excellent food and service), supermarkets and car/bike hire. There are a couple of nightclubs but it is not really set up for the 18/30 type holiday makers. They tend to stay in Zakinthos which is alot bigger and livelier. Next door to Alikanas is Alikes, which is a short stroll along the beach away and perhaps offers slighly more by way of entertainmemt. Very nice resort.
