have been to Kalamaki 4 times now (and I am going back next year) and love the place. People have commented that it is expensive but I would disagree and I say this because the prices are the same as the past 3 years - yes we don't get as good an exchange rate but the prices have not gone up at the resort so we can't blame the Greeks! Prices are for bars/restaurants Beer - Euro 2.00 - 2.50 Wine - Euro 2.00 Glass, 6.00-8.00 Euro Litre Soft Drinks - Euro 1.50 - 2.00 A meal for 3 adults consisting of 3 starters and 3 mains with Litre of Wine and a soft drink was costing us between 32.00 and 40.00 (This obviously depended on what type of food you were eating!) Best place to eat for quality/value/service - Dias Worst place - Mermiads (I have been 3 times over the years and I will never go back as it gets worse each time as they are living off an OLD reputation - I ate there 11 years ago and it was excellent but the last 2 years have been naff) Best place for a drink - Oasis Bar on the corner opposite the Olive tree - really realxing and fairly quiet. Worst - Well I suppose there is a few which I didn't try as I can't be bothered with Karaoke and Loud music anymore. In short I would highly recommend Kalamaki for all as theres is smoething to suit everyone including sad people who want English restaurants.
