Kalamaki is a great resort, it is ideal for families and for people who want a fun night out without the inflated prices of Laganas. There's only one decent night club - Plus Soda, which is brilliant, with friendly staff who know how to make you have a good time. I was in there regulary until 5 am! Their entertainment is good too, with a chance to win the jackpot of ?3000 in the quiz! Mermaids is a cracking restaurant, great for breakfasts and evening meals, and situated in the middle of the main strip. Do visit the old Kalamaki road part though, as there are more bars & restaurants here too. The beach is a little disappointing, but I prefer the pool anyway. I've already booked to return to Kalamaki, and can't wait.
