Laganas is a great place. There were piles of unsightly litter in some places, though I think this was because the season was drawing to a close and everyone was busying shutting down for the winter months. The resort seems to attract younger revellers although there are lots of nice places to visit off the beaten track, and I would say there is truly something for everyone. The beach is a long sandy stretch, with numerous bars, restaurants, clubs and shops. Also if you just want to relax and read a book you can find quieter more secluded parts of the waterfront, all within relatively easy walking distance.
