My husband and I returned from a week in Zakynthos yesterday. We stayed in the resort of Tsilivi which was built around the village of Planos. The resort was well located for easy access to Zakynthos Town (the island's capital) and other reosrts suck as Laganas and Argassi. Tsilivi is supposed to be one of the quieter resorts on the island and although it doesn't have many clubs it does have enough cocktails bars and kareoke bars to keep you busy until the small hours (if that's your kind of thing). At first I was disappointed with Tsilivi as I didn't realise that it was only a recently manmade resort without any character. However it did have a good selection of bars and restaurants for the evenings, leaving the days best spent OUTSIDE the resort exploring the island. We did an island coach tour with
