Myself and my husband stayed in Alykes for the first time in June 2004, we liked the place very much, enjoyed the lovely sandy beach and the host of tavernas offering mouthwatering food at very good prices. There is plenty to do and its well worth it to go on the many boat excursions and a trip into Zante town at night is beautiful. I did feel though that I was in the north of England as the place is over run with english tourists and where there is english there is signs advertising chips and burgers and roast beef and yorkshire pud. No thanks all the same.
