Plaka beach is beautiful. I went there with my husband last week and met a beach hut owner with an unfortunate attitude,look out for him he was wearing a bright orange tshirt. He approached us when we had just arrived as we stood on the beach and he tried to railroad us into going to one of his beach chairs. We said that we wanted to go further over to a quieter area and he rudely informed us that those chairs did not belong to him and that if we went there we would have to remove our car from the complex and park somewhere else - which we did. However, I hope that he reads this or someone points out to him that we would have purchased all our food/drinks for the day at his beach hut at a cost of around 40 euros - so he actually made a loss by telling us to remove our car.
