Resort of Kalamaki has just one long strip of restaurants, bars and shops, all ok, and other towns i.e. Lagana are stones throw away. Beach is very thin and not that fantastic to look at, one man hiring pedelos is about all you get, prob due to the turtles, yes we did see em, but on a boat trip. Wouldnt go again, as all a bit samey really, once youve seen it once its enough. But a nice place all the same. Big note though, you may think that the air planes would be a problem, as the airport is within eyeshot, you will hardly notice them, maybe around a dozen flights a day, but the noise lasts about 6-8secound then is gone.
