The Louis Zante Beach Hotel is located on the outskirts of Laganas and therefore the quieter end of the resort. However there is plenty to do and see in resort for the livelier crowd with lots of shops, bars and nightclubs. At night it was bustling. The beach is clean, sandy and gentling shelving to the sea. There is a refreshing sea breeze. There are plenty of sunbeds at a cost. You do get occasional touts offering CDs, doughnuts/fruit and massages, but a polite ""no thank you"" is all that is needed and they leave you alone. We would highly recommend the hour's turtle trip from the beach. The airport is just 10 mins away and you can see the aircraft come in across the sea, but this is during the daytime only and interesting to watch without being intrusive. Zante is renowne
