The beach is right in front of the hotel and it was cleaned daily. We ventured into the town of Laganas on a couple of occasions which was full of the usual array of souvenir type shops and bars but the prices were all very reasonable. We did strike a couple of bargains though with it being the end of the season, a lot of the shops had reduced their stock some by up to 50% and also the Island cruise we got for half price!! Would we go back......most definately.
