This was our first time to kalamaki although family members have been before and are going back next year it was not what we had expected. The resort is fairly clean but, the beach was full of fag ends and to be honest the beach is not up to much at all. The entertainment in the resort is all sports bars and karaoke which is okay if you like that but, personally.I prefer much more family based entertainment. I would not say this is the worst resort but, I would not visit again. While we were there we did visit other places on the island and found them to be more to our taste. I must add that this is not a big resort and it is not typicaly greek as it is an awfull lot of young british people that work in the bars etc. We did not experience any trouble with gypsies but, many people did and some were quite intimidated by the
