We visited late May so it's still quite early season and the bars were not very busy but there is a very good choice of places to eat and drink. We would also recommend the Odyssey restaurant. It's just off the main strip, there is a souvenir shop called Levantino on the corner. The food was lovely and there is quite an extensive menu of pastas, fish, chicken, etc. The staff were very friendly and you can get a good two course meal with drinks for 2 people for about 30 euros. There are also plenty of Italian, Chinese and Indian restaurants. Make sure to walk away from the beach along the main strip and take a right turn near the crazy golf too - there are loads of bars and restaurants down here which we didn't discover until day 5!
