This is the second time we've been to Vasilikos in Zakynthos and we can't wait to go again!The beaches are some of the best on the island, quiet with long stretches of golden sand. The local bars and restaurants are a far cry from the busy resorts of Argassi and Lagana. Check out the Ionian Restaurant on Banana Beach for some great sea food on the beach.Vasilikos is a quiet and so far, unspoilt part of Zakynthos with an excellent community feel. We spent a lot of time at the Vasilikos Coffee House with Yanni who served up some delicious food and drink and kept us entertained for many hours. He has a useful website to check out for info http://www.vascoffeehouse.comYou should definitely spend time to go and check out some of the more beautiful parts of the island such as Port St Nicholoas toward the northern tip of the island.
