 we were very dissapointed with the place. it is not at all as the brochures present it. the main part of the town is like any other tourist hot spot, full of touts and sellers of all discriptions. what realy got on our nerves were the tavern owners trying to drag you in as you walked past.
the beach is quite nice but narrow and crowded. did find a great place called freddies beach bar, relaxed atmosphere and great food. didnt realy find much in the way of great food in zante which was a big disapointment. we always enjoy our holliday, but i must say tsilvi tested us!
